Stock Investment Scam

This scam appears to exploit gaps in securities investment knowledge. It typically begins with an invitation to join a training group under the guise of learning stock trading. Later, participants are introduced to so-called “professors,” who recommend seemingly lucrative stock investment opportunities. After building initial trust and hope, victims are directed to invest through an unregistered fraudulent trading platform controlled by the perpetrators—often promoted as a proprietary “institutional stock” system.

Cryptocurrency Scam

Cryptocurrency scams have been a particularly destructive form of financial fraud in recent years. They exploit people's curiosity about digital currencies and their pursuit of high returns, using complex technical rhetoric and disguises to perpetrate crimes. Common examples include investment scams/pirate scams, fake exchange/wallet scams, fake airdrop/gift scams, pyramid schemes/funding schemes, and extortion scams. Any project that promises "guaranteed profits" or "super-high annualized returns" is a scam. Refuse to provide your private key or seed phrase. If you have been scammed, immediately cease all financial transactions with the scammer and seek professional help.

Romance Scams

Romance scams are a form of emotional fraud. Scammers typically use social media, dating apps, or chat tools to impersonate a highly educated, high-income, ideal partner, establishing a false sense of intimacy with their victims. They quickly express affection and promise a future together, lowering their guard and even attempting to isolate them. Patiently, they can gain trust over six months or a year. Once trust is established, they then solicit money transfers, cryptocurrency, or financial information under the guise of medical emergencies, investment opportunities, or travel expenses. If you encounter such situations, seek professional help immediately.

Work & Employment Scam

This scam involves fake job offers designed to steal money or personal information from job seekers, or to involve them in illegal activities. It preys on those urgently seeking employment—such as graduates, the unemployed, or people looking for part-time work—using attractive promises like high pay, flexibility, and remote work. If you are encountering the above situation, please stop all transfers and information provision immediately

Cryptocurrency Investment Scam

“A man named Jim from Texas received a friend request on Facebook from a woman named Renna.

Attracted by her youth and beauty, Jim accepted the request. Renna claimed to be a woman from Hong Kong living in Los Angeles. At first, they were just friends, but over time, Renna gradually gained Jim’s trust and persuaded him to invest in a cryptocurrency binary options opportunity. Under her guidance, Jim transferred a total of $940,000 through Crypto.com and wire transfers. When Renna later requested an additional $500,000, Jim refused due to lack of funds. However, Renna repeatedly pressured him with various excuses to raise more money. Feeling uneasy, Jim consulted attorneys at S-GARC, where he learned he had become the victim of a romance-based cryptocurrency “pig-butchering” scam. On his lawyers’ advice, Jim gathered evidence and initiated a recovery process.”

Stock Investment Scam

“In early 2025, Johnson was on a WhatsApp call with his family when he was added to a stock market discussion and learning group. Initially, Johnson merely observed the group, but an administrator later offered to introduce him to Professor William of Wall Street if he was interested. Initially skeptical of Professor William’s predictions, Johnson completely trusted the “professor” after his second prediction turned out to be correct. After building trust and hope, Professor William led Johnson to download an unregistered, fraudulent trading platform and invest $430,000. The platform then refused withdrawals, citing various margin requirements.

After being denied withdrawals, Johnson felt deeply distressed, as the pressure of his life savings and partial loans doubled. Finally, a friend recommended that he contact S-GARC for professional support. With their cooperation, Johnson successfully recovered all his losses.”
